The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Lesotho in partnership with local NGOs - Skillshare Lesotho and Migrant Workers Association (MWA) has been conducting information outreach campaigns to prevent Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and curb the irregular migration attempts of Basotho through irregular channels. The campaign provides accurate information on TIP, who are at risk, why TIP is happening, and what is our role to prevent TIP. Is also includes the information on the benefits of safe and regular migration and the ill effects of irregular migration by targeting potential labour migrants, out-of-school youth, traditional leaders and border communities prone to irregular migration.
